IdCloud Backend Infrastructure Maintenance 20th August 2026

Scheduled for Aug 20, 02:00 - 05:00 UTC

Scheduled

We will be conducting a backend infrastructure maintenance activity and a TLS certificate renewal on 20th Aug, 2026, from 02:00 UTC to 05:00 UTC. During this time, there may be a few minutes of disruption for IdCloud services (Risk-Based Authentication, Fido2, KYC, Orchestration Services, OATH Services, Out of Band Messaging etc). There will be up-to 15 minutes disruption to services during this time.

As part of this renewal, there is a change in the certificate chain. You can check the exact details of the new certificate chain by downloading the PEM file here from our https://supportportal.thalesgroup.com/csm?id=kb_article_view&sysparm_article=KB0030865 for this change.

What is the customer action item?

If your application does not implement certificate pinning, the upgrade will be transparent, and you do not have to do anything. Please make sure the trust stores on the application end contains the new updated certs.

However, if your application does implement certificate pinning, and more specifically if it is pinning the replaced certificates, you MUST update your application to add pinning of the new certificate.

Need Assistance?

Please do not hesitate to contact Thales support if you think this will impact your applications and need some assistance to update it.
